My mom can be very black and white about things, so when she gives advice, it’s clear-cut. That must be where I get it from!
Her advice to the ladies? Wear tight jeans. Tight jeans! Seriously, when I go out on dates or go trolling for men with my girlfriends or get set up with my cousin’s former neighbor’s grandson: tight jeans. Some lip gloss and a little perfume never hurt, either.
Now, my mom has also encouraged me to become an interesting and educated person: have hobbies, read good books, keep up with current events, and know how to chat with people at a cocktail party. But have fun being a woman! Why? Because being a woman happens to be a lot of fun most of the time, and also because men who are looking to date women…want women. Really! Sure, it’s cool when you also yell at the TV during the Super Bowl, but I challenge you to find one straight male who isn’t floored when a cute girl arrives for a date in a pretty dress.
Or really tight jeans.
